Gilded Shells
A very special 50th anniversary cake – this cake is a replica of the original wedding cake with a few special touches added! Iced in Ivory Buttercream with the same seashell border, but this time the shells are gilded with edible gold paint. The orchid is hand-made from gum paste with delicate ivory ribbon, gilded in the same gold as the shells. It sits atop the cake on a plaque of fondant tinted to match the Buttercream icing. A delicious and beautiful tribute to the life and love shared by the bride and groom!
